My background has led me to work in a multitude of cultural, technical, administrative, regulatory, and financial environments.

At the head of my group, without any initial contribution and without any other shareholder, I supported over fifty families. Trained over 300 collaborators. Up to this day, the adventure continues with my successors.

Managing SMEs in this context, in a niche market, is extraordinarily difficult and requires:

• Human logistics and complex equipment,
• Knowledge and mastery of laws and customs (finance, labor law, customs, human resources, etc.),
• Taxation and financial consolidation, guarantee of payments, fund transfers, insurance,
• Health and political risks, safety of people and properties,
• Hurricanes and natural disasters, “cases of force majeure”
• Informal competition, and arbitrary unfair decisions
• Execution of projects in one of the most regulated environments (European) as well as in the roughest unregulated countries (Africa)

I lived in the absolute necessity of immediate performance, backed by the management of all these constraints. Since customer satisfaction is not negotiable, some trade-offs have been painful.

In double-digit growth, as in decline, I fought to carry these structures with all my human qualities.

My skill: A 360° view of the ins and outs of business successes and shortcomings. A unique practical experience with my own money, over more than thirty years.

My proposal: Question the processes and performances, positive and negative. Source what can be improved, work on performance optimizations.
